Job Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.

Responsibilities

• Overtime opportunities also available
• Fully funded CPC training hours provided
• Please note that all candidates will have to undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment tests.
• The safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery
• That your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of your shift
• Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid C+E Licence with experience preferred driving a class 1 vehicle but not essential
• All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role
• Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, have Careless Driving, prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with Construction of Use
• Age requirement: candidates must be over 18 if the role requires working before 6:15am or after 9:45pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles
