Workplace Description

This hotel offers a retreat steeped in history and nestled in acres of parkland. It boasts exquisite dining, a cooked Welsh breakfast, and a distinctive spa. Situated beside the rustic woodland grounds of the castle’s moat, the spa offers a selection of treatments. Guests can also enjoy a calming relaxation area and thermal suite, with a sauna and steam room.

Responsibilities

• Making food orders and all thekitchen necessities.
• Ensures that the pantry and thekitchen are well stocked at any given time.
• Oversears all thekitchen and culinary staff.
• Supervises to make sure that everything is done as well as it should be done.
• Assisting the Head Chef in creating menus and writing of food recipes that are to be used.
• Assigning the staff different tasks that should be done.
• Ensure that sanitary conditions are kept at all times.

Qualifications

• You will have experience of working in a similar role.
• You will have an excellent attitude towards learning, be passionate about good quality cuisine and show dedication to your career.
• A stable background is desired for this position and you will ideally have experience of working to at least 1 Rosette standards.

Accommodation

Accommodation provided: Yes (on an all inclusive basis)

Charge for accommodation: 170 GBP per month
