We are now seeking a compassionate and proactive House Manager to oversee two supported living packages across the Wigan and Warrington area. What you will do:

  • Lead, support and guide the staff team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
  • Manage rotas fairly and effectively to support strong staff retention.
  • Lead staff induction, including meet-and-greets, shadow shifts and post-induction debriefing.
  • Provide a rostered on-call function, when required (uplift provided).
  • Oversee all aspects of medication management, including audits and daily counts.
  • Ensure health & safety, safeguarding and risk management standards are consistently upheld.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, care plans, risk assessments and protocols.
  • Ensure all appointments and professional recommendations are planned, recorded and completed.
  • Support individuals to develop life skills, maintain wellbeing, and achieve personal goals.
  • Assist in tenancy-related tasks and maintain a safe, clean, and dignified home environment.
  • Contribute to person-centred plans and encourage individuals to shape their own support.
  • Build strong relationships with families, health professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure concerns or changes impacting service users are escalated appropriately.
  • Coordinate quality assurance and monitoring systems as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Experience in complex care, with the ability to lead and support staff.
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • A caring, compassionate approach with commitment to reflective practice.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, waking nights and sleep‑ins.
  • Full driving licence.
