As a Care Assistant, you will deliver person‑centred care tailored to each Service User, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care according to Care/Support Plans
- Administer medication safely in line with policies
- Build strong, respectful relationships with Service Users
- Communicate effectively with families and professionals
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Support individuals in their own homes
- Assist with personal care (washing, bathing, moving & handling)
- Prepare meals and support with shopping
- Light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry
- Support access to appointments and social activities
- Monitor wellbeing and report any changes
- Support with finances where required
- Assist with pet care
- Maintain a safe and respectful home environment
