We are currently recruiting for an experienced Decorator to join a busy maintenance team in Bracknell. This is a full-time position offering consistent work and the opportunity to work within a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out decoration and tiling works within residential properties efficiently and to a high standard
• Treat mould and damp issues in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Wash down external areas including windows, doors, soffits and fascias
• Complete minor wall repairs prior to tiling works
• Carry out minor repairs to timber-framed windows, doors, porches, guttering, soffits and fascias during external works
• Manage your own workload and attend appointments within scheduled timeslots
• Maintain strong communication with the scheduling team regarding progress and delays
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations, including PPE, COSHH, risk assessments and safe working practices
• Order materials when required and keep customers updated on progress
• Work collaboratively with other trades and teams when required
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with residents at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in decorating and tiling
• Experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance environments desirable
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
