- About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, building a strong foundation in numeracy, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students make good progress.
- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
- Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives.
- Offer support and guidance to students through extracurricular mathematics clubs or tutoring.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
- A strong understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- A commitment to the school’s Christian ethos and values.
- A passion for making mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all learners.
