Experienced Primary School Teacher opportunities in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, UK. Vetro Recruitment is seeking passionate Primary School Teachers to inspire and educate learners in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 at a welcoming local primary school. Salary: £173.00 per day (competitive daily rate).
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, fostering a positive learning environment
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in accordance with the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents to support each child’s development
- Contribute to school events, activities, and extracurricular programs
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in primary education, particularly in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Eligible to work in the UK and hold Right to Work documentation
