About the role:

A nurturing and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher is required to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Coventry. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to raising pupil achievement, promoting wellbeing, and creating an inspiring classroom environment where every child can thrive. This role is to start September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality and creative teaching across Key Stage 2
• Plan and assess effectively to meet the needs of all learners
• Foster a safe and engaging classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, enrichment, and celebration events

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Strong understanding of early years pedagogy and child development
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A caring and adaptable approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
• Two education or school-based references are essential
