Birmingham Children’s Trust is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join their Assessment and Short-Term Intervention Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families within the Birmingham area.

Location: Lifford House, 45 Fordhouse Lane, Birmingham, B30 3BN

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments of children and families to determine needs and risks.
• Developing and delivering short-term intervention plans.
• Providing support and guidance to families to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Managing a caseload and providing high‑quality reports.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.

Essential Requirements

• Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
• Social Work England Registration.
• Driving license and access to own vehicle.
