Overview
Description: Part-time role at Meadowfield Residential Care Home, Fulwood. Salary £25,949 per annum (full-time equivalent) and paid pro rata. Permanent, Part Time, 17.5 hours per week.
This role is not open to international sponsorship.
Rota: 12 noon – 5 pm. Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.
Please note: The post is part time and the salary quoted is full-time equivalent; the salary received will be paid on a pro‑rata basis. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and DBS requirements apply as described in the organisation’s recruitment process.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of activities
- Encouraging resident participation and adapting activities to individual needs
- Supporting residents to maintain hobbies, interests, and social connections
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the home
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and volunteers
- Helping to organise special events, celebrations, and themed days
- Recording participation and gathering feedback to continually improve the activity programme
