Retail Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. The position offers a permanent part‑time role working a variety of shifts and a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days per week.

Pay & benefits

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy and able to juggle deliveries, till duty, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable and dependable; your colleagues and customers count on you every shift
• Some flexibility for shifts; rota planned three weeks in advance and will consider other commitments
• Complete an Employment Verification check if hired and offered the position
