EYFS Teaching Assistant

Milk Education is supporting a warm, inclusive small setting in the L27 area. The provision supports EYFS and KS1 children with autism in small, structured classes, providing a calm and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support small classes of EYFS/KS1 children with autism
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities, routines, and engagement
• Use a patient, nurturing approach to behaviour and communication
• Help create a calm, consistent environment tailored to individual needs
• Contribute to observations and progress updates
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (school or SEND experience desirable)
• A warm, caring and proactive attitude
• Confidence supporting children with autism
• Ability to follow structure, routines, and individual support plans
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
