Intervention Teacher
Location: Roehampton
Position: Intervention Teacher
Contract: Temp to Perm
Salary: £3200 to £4500 perm month
Start Time: September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions to groups of pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Support pupils in achieving their learning goals in core subjects
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where appropriate
- Help build pupils’ confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
- Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure intervention support is effective
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Hold QTS (essential)
- Strong teaching experience within a primary school setting
- High expectations for learning and behaviour
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Engage and motivate pupils, fostering a positive learning environment
- Previous experience as an Intervention Teacher or delivering targeted interventions (desirable but not essential)
- Legal right to work in the UK (essential)
