Candidate Profile

As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will contribute to delivering an exceptional culinary offering, demonstrating adaptability to meet guests’ requirements while maintaining the highest standards of gastronomy. You will take a proactive approach to training, ensuring a deep understanding of the menu and the expectations within a professional, high‑level kitchen.

With a strong emphasis on skill development and precise menu execution, you will approach each task with pride, embracing on‑the‑job training and focusing on progression within the team. Flexibility is essential, as you will work across different sections and actively expand your knowledge in all areas of pastry.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant preferred but not essential
  • Show drive and passion for baking, chocolate and/or patisserie
  • Catering School qualifications preferred
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred, although not essential for commencement as will be certified with the company
  • Exhibit excellent technical and natural cooking abilities
  • Good command of the English language
  • This role involves some manual handling and, on occasion, lifting of heavier items as part of standard kitchen operations
