Wirral EYFS Teacher Jobs – Supply & Cover Roles

The Education Specialists (TES) are working in partnership with primary schools across the Wirral to recruit nurturing, creative, and dedicated EYFS Teachers for short-term, long-term, and day-to-day cover roles. If you are passionate about early childhood education and creating engaging learning experiences in Nursery and Reception, these roles offer a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children’s early development in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy.
  • Observe, assess, and record pupil progress in line with EYFS requirements.
  • Differentiate activities to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other staff.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers, including regular communication and updates.

Who Can Apply to be an EYFS Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS (Nursery or Reception) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development.
  • A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching approach.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
