The Education Specialists (TES) are working in partnership with primary schools across the Wirral to recruit nurturing, creative, and dedicated EYFS Teachers for short-term, long-term, and day-to-day cover roles. Key Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children’s early development in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy.
- Observe, assess, and record pupil progress in line with EYFS requirements.
- Differentiate activities to meet the needs of all learners.
- Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other staff.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, including regular communication and updates.
Who Can Apply to be an EYFS Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within EYFS (Nursery or Reception) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development.
- A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching approach.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
