Job Title
Casual Food and Beverage Assistants
Responsibilities
- Report for duty punctually at the specified time on the weekly rota, in full uniform in accordance with the Image Standards
- Undertake all cleaning duties as specified in the cleaning rota
- Understand all items on the menu, including recipes, accompaniments, and service
- Be familiar with all alcoholic beverages available from the bar and serve them in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1985
- Serve all foods in the manner specified in the food service specification
- Serve food and beverage products in the restaurant, working within the bar, breakfast or evening restaurant team, or the Meetings & Events team for weddings, functions and other events
- Communicate confidently all food and beverage offerings available to customers
- Accurately process all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in compliance with company guidelines
- Provide a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests, ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a busy beverage service position
- Attentive, professional customer service skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a large team
- Experience of processing payments (Micros experience advantageous)
- Availability for morning and/or evening shifts to cover breakfast or dinner service
