Aspire People are looking for enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to work as SEND Teaching Assistants in primary schools.
This role is perfect for those looking to pursue careers in SENCO, teaching, therapy, or educational psychology , providing invaluable experience working directly with children who require additional support.
Your understanding of learning difficulties, behaviour, social interaction, and emotional development will play a key role in helping pupils access education.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Assisting with inclusive teaching and differentiated learning
- Supporting small group work and targeted interventions
- Helping pupils develop social, emotional, and communication skills
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
