Our housekeeping services support clinical and infection control teams to keep the Trust’s estates clean in line with national standards and the Trust’s strategic cleaning plan. You will lead a small team, maintain staff records, develop staff, manage equipment and stock, and contribute to process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small housekeeping team to deliver NHS housekeeping services in accordance with schedules and procedures.
- Maintain staff records and create rosters that meet service needs.
- Involve in staff induction, training, and development reviews.
- Report equipment or environmental defects and manage replenishment of housekeeping stock.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes that ensure cleaning standards are achieved.
- Other duties as required to support the team.
Working Hours
25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 15:00 to 20:30.
Qualifications
Experience in NHS or healthcare housekeeping, leadership experience, and a clear understanding of national cleaning standards are desirable. Competence in staff management, training, and record‑keeping is required.
