The role
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience
- Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and differentiated lessons
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement
- Monitoring progress and using assessment effectively to raise attainment
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities
The ideal candidate will have
- QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student wellbeing
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning
