- Maternity Cover for one and a half years until 31 August 2027 (or the return of the postholder, whichever is soonest)
- Term Time Only plus 3 additional days, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

The Governors are looking for a versatile and committed Teaching and Administrative Assistant to join our Catholic primary school at St. Robert’s Catholic Primary School, Harrogate. We are looking for a candidate to work in a dual role, providing support for children with additional needs while also delivering administrative support within the school office. Experience is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will hold numeracy and literacy skills at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) and:
Administrative Responsibilities
- Have experience working in a busy office environment with a strong administrative focus
- Communicate effectively, demonstrating warmth, friendliness and empathy
- Work flexibly and collaboratively with staff, pupils, parents and governors
- Be confident using a range of IT software packages and school systems
- Undertake general financial administration, including processing orders, invoices and cash handling
- Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Be caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of children with additional needs, enabling them to access the curriculum
- Communicate effectively with pupils and staff
- Be adaptable, working confidently with individuals and small groups
- Support classroom activities and wider school life
- Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility and a strong understanding of confidentiality
- Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
