Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN Teaching Assistant – £400/450 per week

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic Psychology graduate with an interest in working in Special Educational Needs and support pupils this academic year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant?

We are currently working with a secondary school in South West London who are looking for a full time Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP for the rest of this academic year and into the next academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with pupils who have a statement of SEN to help them reach their targets
  • Lead one-to-one sessions and booster classes for SEN students to aid their learning
  • Collaborate with SENCO, parents and teachers to ensure the most effective SEN provision

Qualifications

  • Minimum second class degree (or higher)
  • Lucid communication skills and clear effective explanations
  • Calming nature and attitude, able to work closely with SEN pupils to help them aim high
  • Previous experience working with children with Special Needs in an educational or care setting

Location

The school is located in North London and is easily accessible by public transport.
