Job Description

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Gloucester. The role involves working alongside the classroom teacher to provide general support to children in Year 3 and 4. You will help students develop their skills, facilitate classroom activities and assist with lesson preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to children, adapting to their needs and learning styles.
• Build positive relationships with students and their families, maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to create a supportive learning environment.
• Offer assistance with lesson delivery and classroom management.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children is required.
• Enthusiastic, patient and enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
• Positive, supportive approach to child development.
• No formal qualifications are required.
