Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in London for a Head Chef. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, creating and executing a diverse menu, ensuring the highest quality of dishes, and maintaining a hygienic and organized kitchen environment. The Head Chef will also be in charge of managing kitchen staff, controlling inventory and food costs, and upholding the restaurant’s standards for culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, drive menu development, supervise culinary staff, ensure consistent food quality, and maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment. The role also includes managing inventory, controlling food costs, and upholding high standards of culinary excellence across all dishes and service.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Pan-Asian cuisine, particularly sushi and robata grill techniques
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to create innovative and high-quality dishes
  • Proficiency in maintaining a hygienic and organized kitchen
  • Capability to manage inventory and control food costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a high-end or fine dining establishment is a plus
