Job Summary
We’re recruiting for Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers’ stores.
Class 1 jobs require handball and manual work which can be physically demanding, including working outside in adverse weather and handballing products at delivery points.

Responsibilities
Deliver goods safely and efficiently to independent retailers. Maintain accurate delivery records, inspect goods upon arrival, and ensure compliance with delivery protocols. Route planning and adherence to schedules are essential for timely deliveries.
Routes vary daily; successful applicants must be flexible with work times, including short‑notice adjustments.
Requirements
- Class 1 licence holder
- Driver CPC holder
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Experience of multi‑drop deliveries; temperature‑controlled food deliveries preferred (but not essential)
- Flexible availability for variable routes and hours, including short‑notice changes
- Must be aged 18 or older to work before 06:15 am, after 09:45 pm, or in warehouse, beer, wine, spirits or driving roles
