HGV Class 1 Container Drivers Wanted – London Gateway

Join a busy and growing transport operation working out of London Gateway with ongoing container work available for professional and reliable Class 1 drivers. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C + E) Drivers to support one of the UK’s busiest container ports. If you are looking for steady work, excellent rates of pay, flexible shift patterns, and a supportive transport team, this is the opportunity for you.

Shift Patterns

We have flexible start times available to suit different schedules.

Day Drivers

• Start times between 04:00 – 06:00
• £18.00 per hour

Night Drivers

• Start times between 16:00 – 19:00
• £19.00 per hour

The Role

• Container haulage work to and from London Gateway
• Trunking and delivery work across the UK
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance

Driver Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous container experience preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
