Photography Teacher – KS4 & KS5

Location: Barnet

Full‑time, long‑term placement starting in the Autumn Term

Pay: up to MPS6 (£194 – £258 daily rate)

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded independent school in Barnet with a supportive leadership team, excellent facilities, and engaged students who are enthusiastic about the arts.

Role

• Full‑time Photography Teacher
• Teach KS4 and KS5 Photography following the Eduqas specification (English branch of WJEC)
• Possibility of some additional “Choice” teaching on Friday afternoons (co‑curricular enrichment clubs, unconfirmed)
• Potential for some KS3 “Choice” enrichment teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative, high‑quality lessons and support students in achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE and A‑Level.
• Provide effective classroom management and clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
• Experience teaching Photography at KS4 and KS5
• Confidence delivering the Eduqas specification
• Creative, organised, and passionate about visual arts education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
