About the Primary Class Teacher
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Supporting pupils’ development in phonics, reading, writing and maths
- Confident with delivering either Little Wandle and/or Read, Write INC
- Ensure the curriculum reaches all learners
- Working closely with teaching assistants and year group colleagues
The school is looking for a Primary Class Teacher who
- Holds QTS and has recent EYFS and/or KS1 teaching experience
- Has a strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
- Maintains high expectations for behaviour and progress
- Is organised, proactive and reflective in their practice
- Works well within a collaborative team
