EdEx is working with an Ofsted Outstanding school in Hounslow that has been branded “The Envy of the Borough” by another headteacher we work with locally. The school is looking to take on either:

• A Teacher of History for a Subject Lead TLR
• An ECT who could take on a class teacher position

These roles will be permanent from September 2026, meaning you will be paid and employed directly with the school (no agency work).

About the Teacher of History Role

• Based in Hounslow, West London
• Paid on the Outer London Pay scale
• Teaching History KS3–KS5
• TLR Opportunities: Subject Lead, Humanities Lead
• ECTs encouraged to apply
• Full time & permanent

Who are we looking for?

• QTS is Essential – applications without QTS will not be considered
• Strong results at A‑Level and University
• Experience working in a High A8 school is ideal
• The team at this school is very bubbly and positive; we are looking for someone who fits this environment
• Ability to teach Geography is a plus
