The Role
We are looking for a skilled butcher to prepare high-quality products that meet customer and company requirements, while providing friendly and helpful service. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys delivering top-quality products and service.
Compensation
£13.15 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare different cuts of meat to customer and company specification.
- Greet and serve customers, providing product knowledge and assistance with purchases.
- Prepare the counter and pre-pack areas, maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
- Carry out stock rotation and product sampling.
- Receive deliveries and complete the required paperwork.
- Distribute special offer materials and support general store operations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in retail butchery.
- Proven customer service excellence with a drive to achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Able to support, deliver and train new team members.
- Flexible, deadline-focused and able to work well under pressure.
- A strong communicator who can work on own initiative.
- A keen interest in developing a career within the trade.
