Regional Rock and Pop Music Teacher – Grays

Location: Field Based

Compensation: £29,000 – £34,000 / year

Description

Salary: £29,000 per annum with potential to progress up to £34,000 per annum. Company Bonus Scheme: £1,500 per annum based on performance & company performance. OTE earnings for year 1: £30,500.

Job Type: Full Time, permanent role

Experience: Musical experience required; teaching experience not required.

Transport: UK/EU Driving Licence and own transport essential. Travel Premium payments for longer journeys and Fuel Card included.

Holiday: 11+ weeks paid holiday a year

Location: Traveling role across Grays and surrounding counties, occasional travel outside region. Travel and accommodation expenses provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent cover and catch‑up lessons across Rocksteady schools throughout the year.
  • Assess needs of children and schools, delivering high‑quality lessons in diverse settings.
  • Maintain positive relationships with schools requiring cover.
  • Submit all administrative duties promptly and accurately.
  • Support new Band Leaders and help maintain quality standards in the region.

Qualifications

  • Competent on at least two of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals.
  • Enthusiastic about travel and able to stay away from home as needed.
  • Consistently represent the brand positively in schools.
  • Highly organised with excellent administrative skills.
  • Highly personable, approachable and friendly.
  • Confident and concise communication style.
  • Positive, can‑do approach to work.
  • Resilient and adaptable.
