Overview
Long-Term Year 4 Teacher – Huntingdon. Teach Agency are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for a long-term placement in a welcoming Primary School in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for stability and continuity within one school setting, where you can build strong relationships with pupils and become part of a supportive staff team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the planning, teaching, and assessment of a Year 4 class, working closely with parallel teachers and support staff.
The Role
- Full responsibility for a Year 4 class on a long-term basis.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Liaise effectively with parents, colleagues, and senior leaders as required.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school events where appropriate.
Key Requirements
- Secure knowledge of the Year 4 / KS2 curriculum.
- Ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable, and committed approach to a long-term role.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have an up-to-date CV.
- Be entitled to work in the UK.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
