Job Description

MASSAGE TUTOR

We are looking for an experienced massage tutor to teach in Leicester.

• Train small groups (up to 6 students) in our accredited massage courses.
• Deliver high-quality teaching using the available lesson plans and materials.
• Adapt training techniques to different learning styles.
• Prepare and maintain the training room and all required records.
• Communicate with students promptly using the provided templates.
• Apply fair assessment methods and give constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Keep students’ registration documents complete at the start of each session.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in massage therapy.
• Ensure a full understanding of the accredited curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a therapist for each therapy taught.
• At least 3 years teaching experience at a college or in-house training.
• A teacher training qualification (AET or equivalent) or willingness to complete our online AET course.
