A highly regarded Specialist SEN School in South Manchester is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their expanding team. This welcoming and well‑resourced school supports secondary‑aged students with ASC, ADHD, and associated behavioural needs through a personalised and nurturing approach to education.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students both academically and emotionally, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and independence outside of mainstream education.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

- Supporting students within the classroom and during activitiesDelivering tailored 1:1 and small group supportEncouraging positive behaviour and engagementSupporting emotional regulation and communication developmentImplementing behaviour management strategiesWorking collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
