A fantastic secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for an academically strong Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant to join them from September 2026.

This is an ideal role for a Russell Group graduate who is looking to gain a full academic year of school‑based experience before progressing into teacher training.

About the Role

As a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across KS3 and KS4
  • Work within your degree subject or a closely related department
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom support and intervention
  • Deliver targeted small‑group sessions
  • Support pupils with academic confidence, organisation and progress
  • Work closely with class teachers and Heads of Department
  • Receive ongoing coaching and training throughout the year
