Role: Hoist Operator

Location: Burgess Hill

Pay rate: £18-£20 per hour

A well-known national contractor that focuses on residential, office fit‑out, education new build and refurbishment projects, as well as large commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hoist, keeping it tidy.
• Assist tradesmen on site.
• Perform other manual labour duties when the hoist is not required.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, observing others on site.
• Arrive on time and finish shifts as allocated by the site manager.
• Complete additional duties requested by the site manager.
• Lift and shift materials comfortably throughout the day.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hoist Operator.
• Valid CPCS card.
• Approachable and a strong work ethic.
• Good knowledge of health and safety on site.
