ECT Teacher – Full-time, long-term supply starting September 2026

Duties as ECT Teacher
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the relevant curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high expectations
- Assess and record pupil progress in line with school requirements
- Work collaboratively with mentors, teaching assistants, and colleagues
- Contribute positively to wider school life during the long-term placement
Ideal ECT Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to qualify as an ECT by September 2026
- Early Career Teacher seeking long-term supply experience
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum expectations
- Confident, reflective, and eager to develop classroom practice
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
