Teaching Assistant

About the Role

Tadley Court School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our education team. Our school is set in a beautiful semi‑rural location with four acres of well‑maintained grounds. We are a day school with six associated Children’s Homes, specialising in the education and care of children and young people aged 4 to 19 who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding. Successful applicants for this role will have access to a free transport service from Basingstoke to the school (and return).

Qualifications

• All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service and at least 2 references covering the last 3 years.
