Fixed Term from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027.
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team on a part time basis. This is a fixed term position within our vibrant and inclusive school community for the duration of the academic year 2026/27.
Qualifications
- Excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (and ideally a broader understanding of the primary phase).
- Highly motivated and able to develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive.
- Effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all.
- Highly effective teacher of Phonics; experience of the Read Write Inc Programme.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development.
- Commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged.
- Up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs.
- Experience of supporting EAL learners and ensuring every child can access the curriculum successfully.
- Committed to their own professional development.
- Eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Bare Trees Primary School.
