Cover Supervisor – Agency Based

Exciting opportunities for Cover Supervisors in Blackpool, Southport, Preston and Blackburn. Our roles are agency-based, allowing you to work on your own terms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes and keep students engaged.
• Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans across various subjects.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Encourage a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide support to learners and ensure they stay on task.

What we are looking for

• Confidence in managing a classroom setting and ensuring a structured learning environment.
• Strong classroom management skills with ability to foster a positive atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with students of varying abilities.
• Proactive and adaptable, able to work at short notice.
• Ability to work independently and manage large groups, including students who may exhibit challenging behaviour.

Requirements

• Ideally educated to A‑level or degree level.
• Hold a valid DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two professional references.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Good level of spoken English.
• Local to the North West or surrounding areas (apply only if you are local).
