The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently deliver customer products using powder tanks throughout the UK and into Europe if required.
Duties
- Loading and unloading of Powder Tanks
- Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
- Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
- Working at heights
- Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
- Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading.
- Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals.
- Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.

What We’re Looking For
HGV 1 Licence for a minimum of 12 months – Max 6 penalty pointsValid DCPC CardCan safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
