About the Role:
The appointed Year 1 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and promote strong academic progress. You will work collaboratively with experienced teachers and teaching assistants who are committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to learn
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress while providing constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners are essential for this role.
