LGV Class 2 Drivers – Opportunity with Yusen Logistics & Interaction Recruitment

Location: Basingstoke (RG24 8BY)

Pay: £17.16 per hour, Overtime up to £34.32 per hour, PAYE

The Role

As an LGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for delivering trade supplies to depots across the UK. You will drive a curtain‑sided vehicle and make multiple drops in a shift. You will be offloaded on‑site by an FLT; handball is not required as part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Transport trade supplies to depots across the UK
• Operate a curtain‑sided vehicle and complete multiple drop‑offs during a shift
• Receive offloading of goods on‑site by an FLT

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 12 months of recent driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Confident in manual handling and use of tail‑lifts
• Experience driving curtain‑sided vehicles
• Strong geographical knowledge
• Clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, start times between 06:00 and 07:00

Pay Rates

• £17.16 per hour (PAYE)
• OT1 – Time and a half – £25.74 (for shifts over 9.25 hours and on Saturdays)
• OT2 – Double time – £34.32 (for Sundays and Bank Holidays)
