Finisher

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced tradesperson to join a new build housing site in Hessle. This short‑term role focuses on the final stages, ensuring plots are defect‑free for handover.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Site Manager through final snagging lists.
• Complete final defect rectifications from site snagging lists.
• Patch plastering and painting touch‑ups.
• Adjust doors, ironmongery, kitchen units, skirting, and architraves.
• Apply clean, professional seals in kitchens, bathrooms, and utility areas.
• Handle minor internal touch‑ups to achieve a show‑home quality finish.
• Work to tight deadlines to ensure plots are ready for handover.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Skilled Worker preferred).
• Proven experience in finishing and snagging on new build residential sites.
• A full suite of your own tools, including a cordless kit and fine finishing hand tools.
• Exceptional eye for detail and quality workmanship.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high‑vis, steel‑toe boots).
• Reliable transport to the Hessle/East Yorkshire area.
