Temp to Perm opportunity with an esteemed North East business. You will be working for a Benton based production company that specialises in providing their services to major household brands and companies nationally. The company is growing and needing to actively recruit, meaning there is scope for guaranteed shifts, permanent contracts and more new hires over the next few months. You will be trained on day shift and then be allocated a 3 shift rotation: Days, Twilight’s and Nights.

£14 per hour. 1 x 30 minute paid break per shift. 37 hours per week. Excellent work‑life balance with days off work.

Working at the Benton site you will be part of a great team delivering high service levels in a fast‑paced environment.

The Role

1. Operate a Counter‑Balance Fork Lift Truck carrying out tasks around the site.
2. Move goods around the factory and organise them as necessary.
3. Carry out yard duties such as unloading or loading trucks.
4. Complete relevant paperwork in accordance with the business SOPs.
5. Follow company processes and procedures at all times in line with current Health & Safety policies.
6. Carry out manual handling of heavy goods.
7. Maintain high levels of housekeeping where necessary.
8. Work as part of a team focussed on achieving the business’s goals.

The Person

1. Positive can‑do attitude, punctual, reliable, strong work ethic and mature approach.
2. Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
3. Experience operating an FLT within a warehouse environment.
4. Flexibility to undertake additional duties such as heavy manual handling and factory duties.
5. Keen to learn, adapt and develop new skills.
6. Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
7. Valid UK driving licence.

The Package
