Payloader / Front End Shovel Loader Driver – Liverpool
Are you an experienced Payloader or Front-End Shovel Loader Driver looking for flexible, ongoing work within a busy port environment?
We are currently recruiting Payloader / Front End Shovel Loader Drivers to join our expanding dockside operations team in Liverpool on a temporary ongoing, as‑and‑when‑required basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast‑paced port operation supporting the unloading of bulk cargo and steel vessels.
Role
As a Payloader / Front End Shovel Loader Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating payloader and front end shovel loader machinery safely and efficiently
- Assisting with the unloading of bulk and steel ships
- Supporting busy dockside cargo operations
- Carrying out labouring duties when required
- Following all health & safety procedures on site
Shift Patterns
- 12‑hour day and night shifts
- Weekend work available
- Flexible working hours
Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
- A valid or expired Payloader / Front End Shovel Loader licence
- Minimum 12 months’ operating experience
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
- Willingness to undertake labouring duties when required
