Caretaker

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive caretaker on behalf of a valued client based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with caretaking, site maintenance, or facilities experience looking for a long‑term role within a school environment.

Location: Nottingham, NG5 4JF | Position: Caretaker | Hours: Monday to Friday split shift 06:00 – 09:00 and 14:30 – 18:00 | Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour (PayE inc Holiday) | £16.86 per hour (LTD Umbrella) | Contract: 2 months | Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Opening and locking the building daily
• Carrying out basic cleaning duties
• Porterage and moving equipment where required
• Conducting routine compliance and safety checks
• Ensuring the site is safe, secure, and well maintained at all times

Requirements

• Previous caretaking or facilities experience preferred
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Enhanced DBS check required
