Job Description:

Salary: £41,500 – £43,000 depending on experience.

Work arrangement: 5 days per week on-site; hybrid as required due to workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Post‑offer BPSS checks are required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specifications.
  • Apply versatile skill base across a range of tasks.
  • Operate all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and relevant inspection times are met.
  • Complete all required manufacturing data requirements.
  • Maintain highest workmanship standards and product quality.
  • Comply with all associated processes and procedures.
  • Certify products following the product certification procedure and maintain certification through regular audits.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and a good housekeeping policy.
  • Communicate best practice to other team members.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)
  • Team player with customer focus.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
