Classroom Support Assistant (CSA/TA)

Job Overview

Classroom Support Assistant to work with children aged 5-16 with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autistic conditions in a specialist school setting.

Full‑time, permanent role (term‑time only), starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
• Assisting learners with severe and complex needs
• Collaborating with the teacher to support learning objectives

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Relevant teaching assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK
