Year 4 Teacher (CSY4Preston)

Year 4 Teacher position at a community-oriented Primary school based in Chorley, England. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team starting September 2026. The role is a temporary-to-permanent, long‑term contract with daily pay ranging from £150 to £230, depending on experience and total working hours allowance.

Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative Year 4 lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on whole‑school curriculum planning and maintain shared criteria for effective learning.
  • Use creative lesson‑planning practices and available facilities to enhance student learning.
  • Implement the school’s behaviour policy and management strategies, with a strong record over the last two years.
  • Differentiate lessons to support a diverse Year 4 class with varying attainment levels.

Teacher Criteria

  • Experienced Year 4 Teacher; either UK‑trained or overseas‑trained teachers who have taught in the UK and understand the National Curriculum.
  • High‑achieving, dedicated, and capable of independent planning and delivery.
  • Experience with a diverse cohort and ability to differentiate instruction.
  • Authentication of qualifications and relevant work experience.
