Job: Cover Supervisor Secondary School Classes Salary range: £100-£120 per day Location: Caerphilly Sector: Secondary Schools We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working in Secondary schools in the Caerphilly area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.
Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What is required:
- UK degree or working towards one
- Experience working with young people (experience in education is desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom/people management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to work
- Commitment to supporting students’ learning and well‑being
- Valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise whole classes during the short‑term absence of teachers
- Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained by managing student behaviour
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided
- Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day
